TY CONF TI UNMANNED FORWARDERS AND HARVESTERS IN THE LOGGING INDUSTRY KW The problem of increasing logging efficiency while reducing anthropogenic impact and injuries requires the introduction of unmanned technologies. The paper considers approaches to integrating autonomous harvesters and forwarders into the timber industry system. It is shown that simple use of GPS navigation without adaptive grip control leads to low positioning accuracy and damage to standing trees. unmanned forwarders KW autonomous harvesters KW logging KW automation of control KW computer vision KW LIDAR KW forest robotics JO MODERN TECHNOLOGIES AND SYSTEMS IN TRANSPORT: PROBLEMS AND PROSPECTS AU Storodubtseva, T.N.
