Abstract:
The article presents a stochastic model of IS degradation based on Markov chains and graph analysis of vulnerabilities. Tested on 50,000 CVE records from NIST NVD. Without patching, compromise risk reaches 0.92 in 9 months; adaptive patching reduces it to 0.28. Novelty-interaction topology accounting, superiority over OWASP/Snyk. Recommendations: centrality-based prioritization for SIEM integration, 80% risk reduction.
