The collection presents the materials of the All-Russian Scientific and Practical Conference "Modern Machines, Equipment and IT Solutions of the Timber Industry: Theory and Practice." Scientific articles presented in the publication consider issues of forest policy, industry, science and education in the current state of the economy. Ways of solving the main problem in forestry and culture - obtaining valuable planting material - are outlined. The topics covered include the use of elements of genetic diagnostics and genetic engineering in determining phytopathogens in forest plantations, improving the effectiveness of work and activities carried out in extinguishing forest fires. Prospects of introducing high-tech domestic developments in the use of unmanned aerial vehicles, as well as experience in using advanced technologies in the field of wood processing were noted. The problems of the forest complex in the field of entrepreneurship, risk situations, the development of adaptive territories, strategic priorities, digital industrial restructuring, smart greenhouse complexes, innovations with delayed diffusion, neural network models in the development of virtual markets for industry products are considered. The materials of the conference are of interest to a wide range of scientists, physicists, engineers, teachers, graduate students and students engaged in research in the forest and wood processing fields, as well as their economic aspects.
