the article presents groups of determinants that influence the motivation of personnel in IT organizations, each of the groups is discussed in detail. Among all the studied determinants, taking into account the peculiarities of the personnel motivation system in IT organizations, individual determinants were identified that influence the formation of the personnel motivation system in large IT companies in Russia. Using a survey, priority determinants were identified that will form the basis of an effective system of personnel motivation in an IT organization and will allow it to maintain a high level of competitiveness in the Russian information technology market.
