Abstract (English):
Forest fires remain one of the most dangerous types of damage to the environment. The consequences of a fire are irreparable damage to the flora and fauna of forests, as well as to humans. The article presents natural and anthropogenic factors affecting the occurrence of fire, and also assesses the economic, social and environmental consequences of fires, including the death of animals, plants, emissions of harmful gases into the atmosphere, which is directly an environmental problem of mankind.
