The main objective of the study is to conceptualise and methodically measure circular maturity in the context of industrial ecosystems. A comprehensive assessment methodology is developed to evaluate circularity according to thresholds that are ecologically, socially and economically acceptable, usually defined as ESG outcomes. This methodology includes a multifaceted circularity management framework that integrates different measures, functions, principles, strategies, business models and circular solutions at different stages of the value chain.
