The article examines the main trends of digital technologies and their impact on the development of production innovation processes in the economy, defining criteria that characterize the development of production innovation processes. But technological innovations, as well as those that we see from a close point of view, cannot really be generalized solutions to the environmental crisis. The study identifies the main directions of how to innovate in the digital knowledge economy, with the aim of providing effective proposals for enterprises to create a sustainable business ecosystem and accelerate digital innovation to help economic transformation and modernization of the economy.
