This paper presents the results of the green plantings condition on the territory of the Lipetsk city street and road network. Problematic areas have been identified, which are the basic trunk roads with high traffic intensity and with adjacent public transit areas. Analysis has been made for the selected streets to the collection, processing and generalization of information about the number of felled and planted green plantings in recent years. The reasons for the removal of a large number of trees have been identified. Prospects for future greening of the city are planned.
