Abstract (English):
This work explores the origin of the "philosophical gardens" in the Western and Eastern cultural traditions over the last three millennia of world history. Five fundamental philosophical concepts that laid the foundation for the development of landscape design and architecture are considered. Their characteristic features are revealed, similarities are revealed and differences are analyzed. At the end of the article, a generalizing definition of the concept of "Philosophical Garden" is derived.
