Abstract (English):
The investigation and enhancement of the carbon sequestration potential of plantations and soils represents a crucial element of global climate change mitigation strategies. A forecast estimation of greenhouse gas absorption and accumulation by coniferous, mixed and deciduous plantations created during reforestation on burned areas, as well as forest soils in the territory was obtained. The results demonstrate that the dynamics of carbon sequestration are influenced by differences in forest conditions and the composition of plantations. For successful reforestation and the creation of effective carbon-depositing plantations, it is necessary to consider the forest and the sequestration potential of the soil.
