This article examines the car maintenance and repair system. During the operation of the car, an irreversible deterioration of its technical condition occurs, associated with wear and damage to its parts, as well as changes in a number of their properties (elasticity, plasticity, etc.). The factors that affect the car and lead to deterioration of its condition include: loads, vibration, moisture, air flows, temperature, dust and dirt on the car, and others. The good condition of the car and its timely maintenance are guarantees of the driver's safety.
