Abstract and keywords
Abstract (English):
The article deals with natural and artificial stones, currently used in furniture production. The appearance of various stone species is described. Accentuated their use in the manufacture and decoration of furniture, as well as recommendations for the use of stone in the interior. The work presents decorative properties of natural and artificial stones, their practical characteristics. The advantages of these materials and their disadvantages, peculiarities of care for stone products are considered. Comparison of similar artificial materials and their natural analogs is made.
