An improved design of a screw-rotor primer with a conical screw is proposed. A mathematical model has been developed and solved. Graphs of functions are constructed using a computer program. With the help of a mathematical model, it is possible to establish optimal parameters and operating modes to increase the efficiency of the working process of a forest fire launcher in the prevention and extinguishing of forest grass-roots fires.
