Abstract and keywords
Abstract (English):
The article considers the problems of transport accessibility in the Arctic and Northern territories of Russia. Environmental requirements for mobile vehicles operating on low-bearing capacity support bases are considered. It is shown that one of the ways to improve cross-country ability and compliance with environmental requirements by vehicles when performing transport work in the Arctic and Northern territories of Russia is to use various mobile vehicles on ultra-low-pressure tires. It is noted that in order to reduce the cost of these machines and increase their competitiveness, it is advisable to deploy their production on serially produced vehicle platforms. The article provides a calculation of the fuel efficiency of a vehicle equipped with ultra-low-pressure tires.
