Abstract (English):
The article discusses various types of veneer gluing in the manufacture of plywood and other glued products. The types of longitudinal, perpendicular and transverse gluing and their impact on the physical and mechanical properties of the finished material, namely moisture resistance, strength and durability, were considered. The advantages and disadvantages of each type were identified, as well as factors that influence the choice of the optimal gluing method for different industrial tasks. The article is an analysis of modern veneer gluing technologies, as well as the latest adhesive compositions and innovative pressing technologies.
