Abstract and keywords
Abstract (English):
Industrial wastewater treatment has become a serious environmental problem due to the rapid progress of the economy and industry. Water pollution due to the presence of heavy metals (Zn, Cu, Pb, Ni, Cd, Hg, etc.) poses a significant health hazard to the population and also exhibits various toxicological manifestations. The article provides an overview of the most promising and effective methods of wastewater treatment.

Keywords:
heavy metals, sustainable development, environmental benefits, economic benefits, wastewater, environmental pollution
