The article provides a comparative analysis of modern technologies for obtaining various grades of modified wood, such as Accoja, kebony, Belmadur, Destaam, Woodest, Thermowood and others. A brief description of new modification technologies developed at the Voronezh State Forest Engineering University is provided.
