Abstract (English):
In this paper we analyzed radio wave propagation (hereinafter referred to as RF propagation) in forests, which are of interest for solving problems of radio communication, location, navigation and remote sensing. Forest ecosystems have unique physical properties that significantly affect the characteristics of radio signals such as attenuation, reflection and refraction. This study investigated the electrophysical parameters of forests, which provides a better understanding of the mechanisms of radio wave interaction with forest cover.
