Abstract (English):
The article examines traditional and modern methods of measuring and inventory of wood bark. Special attention is paid to the transition from traditional to advanced digital measurement methods, as well as the impact of the growing potential for processing and comparing data arrays on the accuracy and efficiency of modeling quantitative indicators of bark. Additionally, the article highlights the ability to more accurately predict the quantitative and qualitative characteristics of debarked timber. The work was carried out within the framework of the scientific school "Innovative developments in the field of the logging industry and forestry".
