Currently, due to the dynamic development of the territory of the Far North of the Russian Federation, the issue of possible negative environmental consequences and ways to minimize them is becoming more acute. Forestry operations are carried out in the forests of the Far North using wheeled and tracked vehicles, which can have a negative impact on soils. In this regard, it is necessary to refine the well-known mathematical models of the interaction of propulsion machines and soils, taking into account the specifics of the composition of soils in the Far North. The work was carried out within the framework of the scientific school "Innovative developments in the field of the logging industry and forestry".
