Currently, due to the constant increase in the distance of export of harvested wood, especially in Siberia and the Far East, the practice of primary wood processing at forest terminals is increasingly developing. The works of the predecessors proved the prospects of producing biofuels from wood waste on forest, which also include felling residues. But for their effective processing, they must first be cleaned of contamination by soil particles. The paper suggests a method for such cleaning using mobile drums. The work was carried out within the framework of the scientific school "Innovative developments in the field of the logging industry and forestry".
