The production of cabinet furniture from sheet materials is the most popular in the furniture market. Cabinet furniture surrounds us in everyday life, at work, in educational and public organizations, places of rest. Requirements for furniture products are constantly increasing and require constant improvement of technologies, equipment and, of course, materials. The paper presents an analysis of adhesives for gluing edges to furniture boards. Positive and negative features of hot melt adhesives are shown. The technology has a large selection of adhesives by price, ease of use, strength of adhesion and there is an opportunity to choose worthy adhesives for different categories of furniture.
