Abstract (English):
The article explores the application of blockchain technology to address issues related to illegal logging and promote sustainable forest management. It describes the benefits of blockchain in ensuring transparency and traceability of timber supply chains, preventing fraud, and improving certification systems. Examples of successful blockchain implementation in forestry are provided, and challenges to the widespread adoption of the technology are discussed. The article emphasizes the role of blockchain in creating a more responsible and environmentally sustainable future for the forestry sector.
