Abstract (English):
It is shown that fire protection of wooden structures is a priority task in the field of fire safety. The physico-chemical properties of wood are considered. Data on the fire-hazardous properties of the substances that make up the wood are given. The influence of the composition of wood on its fire-hazardous properties is investigated. The thermophysical characteristics of wood and their effect on gorenje are considered. The main thermophysical properties of wood are given in tabular form. It is concluded that if it is impossible to replace wooden structures or somehow strengthen them, fire protection is the only way to provide fire protection and fire prevention systems.
