Abstract (English):
This paper presents the results of a study aimed at the possibility of creating board materials without the use of binders from wood affected by wood-destroying fungi with a low swelling index. The board materials obtained in the course of the study have sufficiently high physical and mechanical properties comparable with the existing analogs made of wood. The volume swelling index of the obtained boards is much lower, which in turn may be associated with a decrease in the mass fraction of cellulose and hemicellulose in the affected wood.

Keywords:
Wood, wood-destroying fungi, brown rot, board materials, utilization, swelling, water absorption
