Abstract (English):
The diversity of climatic and soil conditions requires designers to create modern units and machines that effectively carry out soil cultivation. Existing machines cope well with the tasks set, but it is necessary to continue their improvement, which requires new design and scientific solutions. This paper presents the results of field studies to determine the traction resistance of a deep ripper on sandy soil. The unit was tested at the Kozhevenny Cordon. The experimental data were processed using mathematical statistics. When processing the field experiment data, the maximum traction resistance of the deep ripper reached the value of Fxyz = 4644.52 N.
