the article examines Anglo-Russian relations during the English Revolution. An important place is given to the review of the reaction of the Russian state to what is happening in England. The article also examines Russia's relations with both the British parliament and the royal government. In addition, an assessment of the consequences of the English Revolution for relations between the two states is given.
