The article presents the concept of developing an automated monitoring and control system for a drainage pumping station. The basic principles of designing such a system, its architecture and functionality are considered. Special attention is paid to the integration of monitoring and control systems, as well as the use of modern information technologies to improve the efficiency and reliability of the pumping station. An example of a practical implementation of a system based on programmable logic controllers (PLC) and SCADA systems is given. The ad-vantages of the proposed approach and the prospects for its further development are substantiated.
