The article presents an analysis of the effectiveness of automatic traffic light control in a large city. Various traffic light control methods, including fixed cycles and adaptive systems, have been investigated. A comparative analysis of the effectiveness of adaptive systems is carried out using the example of several intersections with high traffic intensity.
