The article examines the changes in Russia's road infrastructure and vehicle fleet from 2010 to 2023, based on information from Rosstat and the Federal Highway Administration. The main results show a shortage of highways, obsolescence of motor vehicles and insufficient use of alternative modes of transportation. In this regard, measures for the renewal of the country's transportation system are proposed in thesis.
