Abstract (English):
The article presents data from experiments on the study of the effect of a pulsed magnetic field on the end hardness of samples of modified compacted birch wood. A qualitative analysis of the results of numerous measurements allows us to state with sufficient confidence that in the lignocarbohydrate matrix of modified wood, magnetic field pulses stimulate processes that are appropriate to model within the framework of classical thermodynamics.

Keywords:
pulsed magnetic field, end grain hardness of wood, lignocarbohydrate matrix, supramolecular structure of wood
