Abstract (English):
A mathematical model has been developed for calculating the frequency of single failures in electronic equipment under conditions of ionizing radiation in outer space for an orbit with an altitude of about 400 kilometers from the Earth's surface. The model allows for an analysis of the dependence of the frequency of failures on the overall and mass characteristics of solid radiation shields in the form of a rectangular parallelepiped.
