Abstract (English):
This article examines the relevance of radiotherapy as one of the key cancer treatment methods. Radiotherapy based on the use of ionizing radiation can effectively destroy cancer cells, minimizing damage to healthy tissues. The article describes in detail modern methods of radiotherapy, such as stereotactic radiosurgery, intensive modulated radiotherapy (IMRT) and proton therapy, taking into account an individual approach to each patient. The advantages and disadvantages of the methods are considered, as well as examples of the successful use of radiotherapy in the treatment of various types of cancer in different countries. The purpose of the study is: 1. The study of new methods to improve the effectiveness of treatment. 2. Reducing the risks and side effects. 3. Advantages and disadvantages of radiotherapy. 4. Giving examples of the use of radiotherapy methods in foreign countries.
