Abstract (English):
Conifers occupy more than a third of the world's forests and play a crucial role in global ecosystems. Currently, in the light of expected climate changes, breeds that are resistant to climatic anomalies based on their intraspecific adaptive potential and growth response at various time scales, in particular to increasing drought, are especially important for the forest sector. In this case, the choice of tree species is one of the most important decisions to improve the biodiversity management and ecological stability of species. The purpose of the work is to study the morphometric parameters of cones of some species of economically valuable conifers. The biology and ecology of a particular species, as we know, directly depends on the environmental conditions of its growth. Conversely, the structural features of the reproductive organs are characterized by a high degree of heritability. Two species of the same genus were purposefully studied in the arboretum of the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution VGLTU (An "indigenous" species and an introduced or non-native species). Object studies –– Picea abies L., Picea pungens Engelm., Pinus sylvestris L., Pinus pallasiana D. Don., Larix sibirica Ledeb., Larix decidua Mill., Pseudotsuga menziesii (Mirb.) Franco.)
