The paper investigates the closeness of the crowns of the oak oak (Quercus robur L.) in an overgrown plantation of the overgrown origin of the Thorn forest. The analysis of the spatial distribution of trees and the projective crown cover on a trial area of 25×50 m is carried out. The average closeness of the crowns was 0.5, with variations from 0.4 to 0.7. Correlations between the taxation indicators of trees and the crown diameter were revealed. The data obtained indicate the sparseness of the plantation and the presence of light windows, which creates conditions for the natural renewal of the oak.
