The article is devoted to the study of the growth and condition of forest crops of Crimean pine (Pinuspallasiana D. Don) and Stankevich pine (Pinusstankewiczii) in the State Institution "Sevastopol Forestry" of the city of Sevastopol. Data on the survival of crops, average annual growth in height and diameter, as well as the results of the influence of various agrotechnical measures and thinning are provided. The problem of the optimal technology for creating Crimean pine crops in the conditions of the State Institution "Sevastopol Forestry" of the city of Sevastopol is considered. In order to identify the advantages in the growth and survival of pine crops depending on the creation technology, studies were conducted in different-aged crops of Crimean pine and Scots pine and the following recommendations were given: plants should be planted on loams with an area prepared with furrows and care should be carried out in the first years of crop growth.
