Increasing the productivity and qualitative composition of the oak forests of the Russian Federation is a priority area of forestry due to the mass production of seed material of an improved breeding category. As part of the research, the main disadvantages of forest seed production facilities in the Tambov and Volgograd regions have been identified. It is noted that the heritability of the genotype on the LSP of the Novoanninsky forestry, derived from positive trees, remains unchanged, while the phenotype under the influence of environmental factors shows an adaptive and adaptive character.
