Systems of artificial linear plantations transform forest-agrarian landscapes. To increase their efficiency, condition and formation of sustainable biological systems, ecological and biological characteristics of species, selection of assortment, agrotechnical and silvicultural methods of creation and further forestry and reclamation measures are taken into account. The tree species used as durable and fast-growing in protective afforestation allow having reclamation objects capable of protecting inter-strip spaces from adverse natural phenomena. In the Central forest-steppe zone, tree species in their growth are assessed by high quality classes, which means that there are more suitable soil and hydrological conditions. In middle-aged stands, a transverse profile is formed, which effectively allows solving the issues of the range of melioration influence. The ecological potential of agrolandscapes among forest belts differs significantly from territories that do not have protective functions. Under the influence of protective plantings, the bioproductivity of agroterritories increases. For complete protection of landscapes, it is necessary to have at least 3.0 -3.5% of arable land forestation.
