Abstract (English):
In the conditions of the Central forest-steppe, ravine plantations grow on the lands of the hydrographic fund, which play a significant anti-erosion and ecological-meliorative role. In the age range, the plantations are mainly middle-aged and older. The composition of the plantations is dominated by English oak. The companions of the main species play an important role in the formation of a stable plantation, respectively, all this is reflected in the bioproductivity as a whole. Also, biological objects allow you to form an ecological framework for the landscape and mainly its hydrographic position. In the zones adjacent to the ravine plantations, a special microclimate is formed, where there is a positive effect on the temperature regime of the ground layer of air, its humidity, and the physical and chemical indicators of the surface layer. On the slopes occupied by vegetation, a decrease and complete cessation of erosion processes is noted. The ravine plantations are an important link in the forest reclamation of landscapes and the transformation of natural complexes.
