The results of growing Siberian larch seedlings and seedlings for landscaping Siberian cities are presented. Siberian larch (Larix sibiricaLedeb.) is a common tree in the landscape of Siberian cities, it is good in ordinary plantings, groups and tapeworms. Siberian larch tolerates urban conditions quite well, it is beautiful in ordinary plantings, in groups, as well as in the quality of tapeworms. The research was carried out under the conditions of a pet of ornamental plants. Experimental sowing of class 1 larch seeds in cassettes for growing seedlings with a closed root system and in open ground conditions with an open root system was carried out. The following indicators were determined: seed germination, soil composition, soil acidity.The height of seedlings, the length of the root system, the length of the lateral roots, and the diameter of the root neck were regularly changed. The observations were carried out for two years, which made it possible to determine the time of cultivation of Siberian larch for planting in urban conditions. Studies have shown that in two years Siberian larch seedlings reach a height of up to 60-70 cm, and can be used for planting in urban environments, taking into account the increase that was determined in the research, the seedlings will quickly reach a significant height and decorative value.
