This article discusses the results of a study comparing the softwood cuttings rooting efficiency of one of the most popular varieties of Western thuja in the landscaping, 'Danica'. Rhizogenesis stimulants "Kornevin" and "Maxifol Rutpharm" and a control variant without stimulants were used in the experiment. In the control variant and in the variant with the use of the stimulator "Kornevin", the rooting was 48% in both cases. The use of the "Maxifol Rutpharm" stimulant did not show high rooting result - 31.7%. According to biometric parameters - the length of the roots and the young shoots, the highest rates were observed in the variant with the use of the stimulant "Kornevin", significantly different from the control. When using the "Maxifol Rutpharm" stimulant, the most active growthof the young shoots was observed. In this regard, the possibility is being considered to add this stimulant as an additional fertilizer when growing rooted cuttings to stimulate the growth of green mass.
