The article is devoted to the study of the impact of the transport system on the territorial organization and interrelationships, as well as the analysis of problems related to its functioning, including environmental pollution and noise pollution. It is emphasized that a well-developed transport infrastructure is a key factor in economic growth, attracting investment and efficient use of resources. Innovative approaches to the development of the transport network are proposed as solutions, such as the use of underground space, the creation of multi-level interchanges, pedestrian zones and the integration of various modes of transport. In conclusion, the principles of designing transport infrastructure that ensure environmental safety and sustainable urban development are defined.
