Abstract and keywords

Abstract (English):
The abandoned industrial areas of the city need renovation. Their restoration requires innovative approaches in architecture, urban planning and planning. The paper discusses various revitalization strategies, as well as the main directions for the transformation of urban industrial areas: the creation of residential and public spaces, business centers, environmentally friendly industries and recreational areas with landscaping. The practices of reconstruction of industrial zones, both in Russia and abroad, are considered.
