Abstract (English):
The article discusses modern approaches to the cyclic recycling of wood waste for the production of biocomposite materials. The main technological solutions, as well as the economic and environmental advantages of implementing closed production cycles, are presented. Directions for the development of the sector in Russia are also outlined. Special attention is paid to the introduction of innovations, improvement of the regulatory framework, and raising market participants’ awareness. The relevance of transitioning to a circular economy for the sustainable development of the forest industry is emphasized.
