Geographical forest crops of Scots pine at the Stupinskoye Field landfill, including 245 ecotypes from different regions of the former USSR, have reached the biological age of 65 years, when preliminary conclusions can be drawn about their ability to deposit carbon. Studied in 2018-2020. Forest-steppe and steppe ecotypes are characterized by different preservation, intensity of growth, sanitary condition and productivity. For the first time, an attempt was made to evaluate and compare different ecotypes in the fresh forest growing conditions (B2) of the Central Forest steppe in terms of carbon deposition capacity. It has been established that the following ecotypes are the best in carbon deposition: Urazovsky from the Belgorod region, Balashovsky and Kolodezsky ecotypes from the Lipetsk region.
