Abstract (English):
The article analyzes the problems of safety at water facilities in Russia in the context of growing threats. The main monitoring technologies, their application in ensuring safety at water bodies and prospects for their development are considered. The existing legislative initiatives are being considered, as well as proposals for their improvement to improve safety at water facilities. Recommendations are given on improving the level of safety at water bodies through the introduction of modern monitoring technologies, the development of legislative initiatives and educational programs for the population.
