Abstract (English):
The article is devoted to studying modern trends in forestry related to improving the efficiency of forest culture creation methods through the use of planting material with different types of root systems. The advantages of closed root systems (CRS) compared to open ones (ORS) are discussed, emphasizing their positive impact on survival and growth rates of forest cultures. Experimental data confirm that forest cultures created using CRS outperform those established with ORS in important parameters such as plant height and diameter at the root collar. Forest cultures formed from seedlings with a closed root system exhibit better characteristics for growth and conservation, demonstrating higher vitality and ability to easily tolerate adverse environmental factors. Therefore, it is recommended to prioritize the application of closed-root-system-based forest cultures to accelerate growth and enhance economic efficiency of reforestation efforts, making this technology a leading direction in contemporary forestry.
