In the context of rapid urbanization, urban forests acquire particular importance as providers of ecosystem services. Among them, cultural services play a crucial role since they are directly related to the quality of life, health, and social well-being of the population. The article examines the main types of cultural ecosystem services of urban forests, including recreational, aesthetic, educational, and social services. Their impact on the mental, physical, and social health of urban residents is highlighted. Special attention is given to the challenges of cultural service provision, such as high recreational load, uneven distribution of green spaces, lack of infrastructure, and conflicts with urban development. The prospects for development are considered, including the creation of ecological trails, integration of cultural services into urban planning, the use of digital technologies, and public involvement in the management of natural areas. It is concluded that cultural ecosystem services are a key factor in the sustainable development of cities, ensuring harmony between humans and nature and contributing to improving the quality of life.
