This paper presents a comprehensive set of methods for estimating stem volume and carbon content in pine saplings using classical formulas by Guber and Newton-Rikh with the application of 132 models. As a result, multiple linear equations were developed to assess the volume of pine stemwood and carbon productivity in young stands on degraded lands of the Krasnoyarsk Basin. The obtained models demonstrate high statistical significance of coefficients and reliability, enabling their use for estimating timber and carbon stocks in forest plantations.
