The article presents the results of the study of the furniture industry market of the Russian Federation for the analyzed periods. In the context of restrictive measures and the influence of Western sanctions, the furniture industry is experiencing difficulties associated with the transition to the production of import-substituting products. Based on the results of the study, the main reserves for increasing the profitability and cost-effectiveness of a furniture enterprise were identified. In general, the production of furniture products shows a slight decline in production, caused, among other things, by the heterogeneity of the manufactured products and a decrease in the efficiency of the channels for the distribution of manufactured products.
